Level 1 – Swab
* Interested in getting involved in local racing
* Zero to minimal knowledge of sailboat racing
* Willing to learn from the captain
Level 2 – Beginner
* Some sailboat racing experience
* Capable of trimming the main sail and foresail
* Capable of rigging the foresail lines
Level 3 – Intermediate
* At least 1 year experience racing on a JAM boat
* Capable of trimming the mainsail and foresail
* Capable of working foredeck on a JAM boat
Level 4 – Advanced
* At least 1 year experience racing on a Spinnaker boat
* Capable of trimming the main sail, foresail, and spinnaker
*Capable of working the foredeck on a Spinnaker boat
